Jacksonville Sharks Free Agent Tryouts: Everything you need to know

The Jacksonville Sharks will be hosting a free-agent workout for the 2025 upcoming season in Feb 2025. The Sharks are proud to be one of the winningest Arena Football franchises in the country. Head Coach Jason Gibson enters his 3rd season with the Sharks and his 23rd season of Arena Football. He has a winning tradition and because of that, over 53 players during his tenure have had the opportunity to advance their football careers into the NFL, CFL, XFL, and USFL

Player Registration Info:

Due to the success and the overwhelming response from free agents, space is limited per tryout.

What: Free agent tryouts. The day will consist of the following testing.

40 yd dash, 5-10-15 short shuttle, 3 cone drill, broad jump, bench x 225 reps,

The staff will be using these numbers as a baseline along with individual drills to evaluate potential players for the 2025 roster.

When: Feb 2025

Surface: Field Turf (Outdoors)

Cost: $65.00 pre-registration, $75 day of tryout

The above signed, for himself and his heirs, personal representatives and or administrators, hereby forever discharges and releases National Arena League, Inc. Together doing business as the National Arena League (“NAL”) all teams in the NAL, and the Operator Member(s) of all such teams, their respective agents, owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, successors and or assigns from any and all injuries, liabilities, claims, demands, costs, expenses, damages or causes of action that the undersigned may incur or acquire during the course of his participation in, involvement with, or attendance at the tryout/workout to be conducted by the Jacksonville Sharks on Jan 28th, 2023 This “Waiver & Release” is given for and in consideration of the opportunity to participate in an NAL football tryout/workout, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged. The undersigned acknowledges that he is executing this “Waiver and Release” with the understanding that it in no way constitutes a contract or an offer of employment between him and the NAL; it is only an opportunity to tryout for a rostered position as a professional football player on a designated NAL Member Team. The undersigned warrants that he suffers from no minor or serious physical injury, illness or disability that may make him especially susceptible to injury or disability in performing any activity contemplated by this “Waiver and Release”. The undersigned also warrants that he is physically able to fully participate in the aforementioned football tryout/workout and that he fully comprehends and accepts all of the risks associated with such participation.
